With the assistance of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Ulaanbaatar, Tri-Service General Hospital has established sister hospital relationships with the First Central Hospital of Mongolia, enhancingclinical techniques and experience sharing.Besides the assistance to develop Mongolia's cardiology specialty and achieve its first milestone in open-heart surgery, the First Central Hospital of Mongolia also required some related medical devices.
In response to this case, the GMISS team inventoried a batch of required related equipment. This batch of donated items was also donated along with the luggage when the team went to Mongolia for work.Accompanied byMr. Wang, Kai-yu, representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Ulaanbaatar, a handover ceremony was held on September 17at the First Central Hospital of Mongolia.The case was received by Dr.ByambasurenL.,Superintendent of the First Central Hospital of Mongolia.Superintendent Byambasuren L.expressed gratitude andlooked forward to Taiwan's continued supply of required medical equipment and medical technology exchanges with Taiwan in the future, so as to expand medical cooperation between Taiwan and Mongolia.
