The International Conference for Innovation in Biomedical Engineering and Life Sciences (ICIBEL) 2017 was held from December 10th to 13th, 2017 in Penang, Malaysia. GMISS convener, Dr. Yi-You Huang attended the conference to promote the organization. The event was organized by Centre for Innovation in Medical Engineering (CIME), University of Malaya, and co-organized by Malaysian Society of Medical and Biological Engineering (MSMBE). The conference is jointly held with 10th Asia Pacific Conference on Medical Device and Biological Engineering (APCMBE2017). The ICIBEL 2017 is considered to be the biggest and most influential medical engineering platform in Southeast Asia, hosted annually in a large scale, and sees the attendance of international experts in the field. Apart from submitting a paper to the ICIBEL 2017 conference, the paper also included a detailed account of GMISS mission, operational processes, and achievements. In October, GMISS was invited to present the details of the program. Through the sharing of the program information and brochures regarding GMISS's achievements, we promote the visibility of the program in the international community.
