Warming the hearts in the season, GMISS donation once again in Burkina Faso

On November 6th, 2017, Ambassador Cheng-hong Shen of the Ambassade de la Republique de Chine - Taiwan au Burkina Faso and Minister Nicolas Meda of the Department of Public Health jointly hosted the GMISS medical equipment donation ceremony at the Compaore medical center. Senior officials of the Department of Health of the Burkina Faso, representatives of the recipient hospital, as well as the delegation of experts from Puli Christian Hospital attended the ceremony.
During his remarks, Ambassador Shen elaborated on the cooperation status between the Republic of China (R.O.C Taiwan) and Burkina Faso and encouraged the utilization of the donated medical equipment. Minister Nicolas Meda, then in his speech, thanked our government for their charitable actions and promised to utilize the equipment to benefit the patients in need and hope for our government's continued support in medicine.
The donated equipment and supplies include a refurbished mobile hemodialysis machine, a refurbished infant emergency care center, a refurbished anesthesia machine, 80,000 new surgical masks, 40 electric sick beds that are distributed to the Yalgado medical center, and hospitals in Dori, Manga, Ouahigouya regions.
