Bedframes

Having heard about the GMISS channel for foreign aid, St. Joseph Hospital, situated in the center of Kaohsiung city, contacted the GMISS in July to offer one hundred plus cast-off bedframes. The GMISS staff conducted an on-site inspection accordingly in August. After eliminating certain bedframes with rust, one hundred bedframes were selected for donation.
Burkina Faso, a diplomatic ally in Africa, has mainted friendly relations with Taiwan for many years. Due to the lack of medical resources in Burkina Faso, there is considerable demand for hospital beds. Through the help of the GMISS, the one hundred bedframes from St. Joseph Hospital will be donated to the African nation. In addition to their kind donation, St. Joseph Hospital has graciously offered to store the bedframes on their premises until shipment arrangements are made.
