Please propose needed equipment or describe the institution’s requirements in a message forwarded through diplomatic channels to the Taiwan embassy or representative office, or to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Upon receiving the application, the GMISS team will check its data bank for available items, replying with a letter explaining the conditions of the donation and asking applicants to confirm. Although the GMISS team can help with preparing shipments, recipients are expected to cover freight costs and to complete local customs formalities.
On July 9th, 2011, in the cooperation with Changhua Christian Hospital and AMATA Corporation, the GMISS donated a 40-ft container including patient beds, medical masks, epidemic prevention materials and medical equipment to the cooperative hospital in Laos.
